I’ve had a blog posted about my sculpture on the Horniman website. You can check it out here.
Only five more sleeps to go until Christmas day! I’m kind of ready and have certainly started on the mince pies!
Thank you to those that popped in and visited the Studio yesterday- I’ll be open again on Wednesday so if you missed out there’s still time to get some last minute gifts and retro party outfits! You could also buy a raffle ticket for this fabulous wreath I crocheted and the proceeds are going to Dementia UK.
I’m starting Arty Crafty Kids Club in January and note the correct morning session times!
They are due to start on the 23rd of January
Adult classes start up again on the 6th of January.
Have a fabulous Christmas and see you in 2016!!
My Christmas shopping event is fast approaching! I found some great retro party dresses which will be on sale at my studio on Saturday- groovy baby! I’ll also have some retro homewares and all the crafts I’ve been making on sale too! Come along and tuck into some free mince pies and find out about the new classes I’ll be running in 2016.
Here’s a selection box!
Just back from a fabulous coach trip to the Lincoln Christmas Markets with Mum and Sis. It was quite like the T.V. programme of the same name in places!! Had a lovely time and there were quite a few inspiring crafts to be seen on the market stalls. I’ve nearly finished my Christmas shopping now- just a few more bits to get.
Speaking of Christmas shopping, I’ll be opening the studio on the 19th to allow for last minute gift buying- pop in for a browse and a free mince pie!
It was lovely to be working in my dry and cosy studio after Saturday’s soggy performance at the Bishop’s Stortford Farmer’s Market! I enjoyed arranging the new Christmas tree and decorations which look lovely.
I’ve not had too much time this week to do a lot of making, but did make this cute little tea cosy from some of my favourite fabric at the moment. I’ll be sad when the fabric runs out!
It was great to have some visitors to the studio too and thank you for the positive comments!
The weather forecast wasn’t great for the Farmer’s and Craft Market in Bishop’s Stortford and it was at least accurate!
I managed to hang on to my handcrafted gifts in the wind and rain and things did improve when we got an extra tarpaulin!! Well done those brave customers who ventured out and bought some of my Christmas decorations. I bought a new wooden Christmas tree to put them on in my studio and they look good- still a bit early to go decoration mad though!
Here’s the latest tea cosy I made this week- from old embroidered chair slips and napkins. Very pretty I think.
Classes are on as usual on Wednesday and the studio will be open all day too. NO FRIDAY CLASS THIS WEEK!
Just a reminder that I’m running a Christmas Craft Workshop on Monday the 23rd of December. Look forward to seeing you there!
